The Staff Pad has partnered with one of Colorado’s largest accounts receivable management companies to identify a Director of Applications . This role reports to executive leadership and leads the internal Applications team. The Director of Applications owns the stability, scalability, and ongoing evolution of the organization’s core collections and revenue cycle application platforms, serving as the bridge between operational stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can drive application strategy while also ensuring day-to-day execution. Issue resolution, workflow design, system enhancements, change management, upgrades, and vendor management are all central to success in this role. Responsibilities: ​ Own overall health and scalability of enterprise applications through continuous evaluation, refinement, and performance optimization Partner with business units to design and implement new workflows, application enhancements, and custom builds to meet operational and client needs Serve as the technical resource as the company launches new lines of business. Evaluate new software and technology solutions and recommend best-fit tools Ensure all reported issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. Establish expectations, triage processes, and accountability across the Applications team Stay current on product releases and platform updates. Translate release changes into action plans and impact communications for stakeholders Manage and maintain strategic vendor relationships, including support escalation, roadmap planning, contract-level performance, and solution alignment Design, implement, and maintain a formal change management framework to ensure controlled, documented, and auditable changes across systems Lead application upgrades end-to-end, including planning, testing, validation, deployment, and post-release stabilization Develop and maintain technical documentation that accurately reflects application design, configuration, workflows, and usage standards Attend client meetings as a technical SME to support IT-related questions, troubleshooting, and solution design Drive platform performance that improves customer satisfaction and supports profitability through strong system reliability and service levels · Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience Experience supporting enterprise applications, ideally in collections, revenue cycle, or adjacent financial services environments Experience across the application lifecycle: strategy, requirements, configuration, enhancement delivery, upgrades, and support Ability to configure and support collections platforms. Finvi Artiva experience Proven team leadership experience. Ability to delegate, coach, and run a high-output applications function Strong communication skills and comfort partnering with both executive leadership and operational teams Highly organized.
