This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payments, optimizing AP processes, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.This role pays an annual salary of $75,000-$90,000 and is bonus eligibleBenefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays)This position will remain open until April 24, 2026.Lead, manage, and develop the Accounts Payable team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvementOversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and month-end close activitiesEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirementsDevelop, implement, and optimize AP policies, procedures, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalabilityManage vendor relationships, including issue resolution and payment inquiriesOversee AP-related audits and support internal and external audit requestsMonitor KPIs and prepare regular reports on AP performance, cash flow, and outstanding liabilitiesLead or support system implementations, upgrades, and automation initiatives related to accounts payablePerform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, prepaids, amongst other general ledger accountsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred but not required)3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable or finance, including 5+ years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and AP best practicesExperience with ERP systems and AP automation tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Concur, Certify, or similar)Advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and vendor-management skillsPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience in a multi-entity or high-volume transaction environmentDemonstrated success driving process improvements and automationExperience managing remote or geographically distributed teamsAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
