This senior leadership position is focused on high-performance systems, pragmatic engineering, and rapid iteration. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end infrastructure, including cloud infrastructure design on Azure, Kubernetes-based container orchestration, and the optimization of core services such as Kafka, Redis, and Postgres. Security, compliance, and performance engineering for market data ingestion and order routing are also key aspects of the role. The Head of Infrastructure will be a force multiplier for the engineering team, ensuring reliability, performance, and security while enabling rapid feature delivery. Applicants for the Head of Infrastructure role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of senior-level infrastructure experience, with a strong background in operating production systems at scale. Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly on Azure, is essential, but candidates from AWS or GCP backgrounds with a solid understanding of cloud fundamentals are also encouraged to apply. The role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and Postgres in production, as well as a proven track record in building reliable, observable platforms with robust CI/CD and release engineering. Strong collaboration skills, a hands-on approach to AI tooling, and a focus on performance tuning for latency- and throughput-sensitive workloads are also necessary. Experience in trading, sports betting, exchanges, or other real-time systems, as well as a background in SRE leadership, are considered advantageous.
