Archaea Energy, a bp company, is a leader in landfill gas to energy and the largest renewable natural gas (RNG) producer in the US. With big ambitions, we specialize in the development, construction and operation of RNG, landfill-gas-to-electric and dairy digester facilities. The team operates around 50 sites in 32 states with a robust development pipeline. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Manager to support governance, audit readiness, and procedural adherence across our Procurement & Supply Chain organization. In this critical role, you will ensure our processes meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices through strong controls, reporting, and collaboration. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about enabling compliant, high-performing operations. Key accountabilities include: Leading and managing compliance activities across Procurement & Supply Chain to ensure alignment with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Conducting internal audits, process reviews, and system checks to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Preparing internal audit reports and making corrective and preventive action recommendations. Maintaining, developing, and implementing policies, procedures, and documentation to support consistent, compliant operations for the sake of continual improvement. Monitoring compliance issues, tracking corrective actions, and partnering with key stakeholders to drive resolutions. Supporting ERP-related compliance, including permissions, data accuracy, and process adherence. Developing and delivering compliance reporting, dashboards, and insights for Leadership, Finance, and Legal teams. Providing training and communication to ensure team members understand and follow compliance expectations. Maintaining documentation and reporting for external audit readiness. Coordinating with internal and external auditors, responding to documentation requests and managing remediation actions. Essential education includes a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field. Essential experience includes: 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or category management. Experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or supply chain governance. Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail. Ability to interpret policies, apply controls, and work effectively across functions. Excellent communication and documentation skills. High ethical standards and strong integrity Process-oriented and organized Strong problem-solving and risk assessment abilities Skilled at influencing and partnering across teams Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment Desirable criteria include: Experience with Acumatica or similar ERP platforms. Knowledge of procurement or supply chain processes and audit requirements. Experience using reporting or BI tools such as Power BI or DOMO.
