Project Assembler

Position Summary This position is designed to work the Assembly Systems cell as the incoming business deems necessary. Project assemblers work with a variety of departments and outside customers to bring an engineered system from design concept, assembly, test, buyoff, final adjustments, and through to final shipment. 1st Shift M-F $27.60/HR Essential Job Functions · Operate cranes, hoists, tow motor, scissor-lift · Operate hand and power tools · Assemble large tools/parts for industry · Assemble small tools/parts · Troubleshoot assembly issues, electrical circuits and pneumatics · Work with design, manufacturing, and quality engineers on projects and programs · Keep work area clean · Perform other tasks as required · Knowledge of electronic components, devices, electric wiring, and circuitry · Able to assemble and repair unassisted Essential Skills & Experience · High school education or equivalent. Additional education preferred. · 2-3 years of assembly experience · Attention to detail required · Basic reading, math, and computer skills · Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment · Able to multi-task and effectively handle competing priorities · Able to complete tasks and resolve problems timely and effectively · Enthusiastic with a positive "can do" attitude · Regularly required to talk, hear, use hands, and stand for extended periods of time · Must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. without assistance and up to 250 lbs. with mechanical assistance If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
