What Is The Position The Initial Operating Evaluation (IOE) Scheduler is a direct support role for crew resources department to ensure all flight crews are scheduled and have completed all Operating Experience (OE) in Initial and transitional training. Essential Functions Know and understand the information outlined in the Scheduling Manual: CFR 117/121 and all contract requirements for duty, rest, and minimum required time in IOE Responsible for scheduling all initial, recurrent, and transition training events for Pilots and Flight Attendants Responsible for notifying and scheduling all crew members due for checking events Ensure all appropriate forms are entered in the crew records management system ensuring timely grading Create and distribute IOE schedule assignments for IOE scheduling and recurrent events First Officers, Captains, Line Check Airman, Flight Attendants, and the FAA Manage hotel and travel reservations for flight crew when necessary Communicate IOE assignments to internal departments Coordinates and schedules operation experience events Assist in covering sick calls for Line Check Pilots keeping training intact Attend all training meetings Track, trend, and report progression while in IOE Complete FEAT; Fatigue Education Awareness Training Annually Accountable for Safety Management System SMS responsibilities Assists with special projects as assigned by management General Requirements & Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken High school diploma or equivalent Satisfactory 10-year background history, including criminal background Intermediate computer skills including MS Office Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body, sedentary work involves sitting most of the time and walking/standing occasionally Visual Acuity: Includes inspection, close assembly, clerical administrative; This is a minimal standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, computer, extensive reading. Environmental Conditions: Inside environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
