Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. This opportunity is for a physical therapist position serving multiple schools within the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. The role focuses on providing physical therapy services primarily in school settings located mostly in Central and North-Central Durham. This full-time contract position requires on-site work from approximately 5 to 9 schools, with caseloads that vary between 30 to 40 students of diverse ages. Some schools require fewer visits, typically 1-2 per month. Responsibilities include evaluating and delivering physical therapy care aligned with school schedules, which range from elementary through high school hours. Each schools bell schedule differs, with elementary schools running from 7:45 AM to 2:15 PM, middle schools from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM, and high schools from 9:15 AM to 4:15 PM. Duties involve working closely with students to address their physical therapy needs in a school-based environment. Qualifications and Experience: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure required Previous physical therapy experience in school settings is essential Ability to manage a caseload of 30-40 students of varying ages Flexibility to work across multiple school locations in the district Good communication and organizational skills to coordinate treatment within school schedules Location: On-site work required in the Research Triangle, specifically in Central and North-Central Durham, NC This position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 10, 2026.
