As a Supply Chain Intern, you will support Micron's Global supply chain planning teams by applying analytical, systems, and problem-solving skills to real business challenges. You will work cross-functionally with planning, operations, and other business partners to improve visibility, decision-making, and execution across the end-to-end supply chain. By the end of the internship, you'll gain exposure to: How semiconductor supply chains operate at scale. Supply planning concepts like demand, capacity, inventory, and service level. How data is used to drive operational decisions. How cross-functional teams work together in a global company. Key Responsibilities: Support supply planning and optimization activities using data analysis and modeling techniques. Analyze supply, demand, inventory, and service-level metrics (large datasets) to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Improving visibility and consistency of planning signals sent to key collaborators (Fab, Procurement etc.) Support planning scenarios that balance key parameters - demand, capacity utilization, inventory DIO etc. Assist with development of dashboards, reports, and planning tools to support operational decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Global Supply Chain and Supply Planning organizations Present findings and recommendations to team members and collaborators Minimum Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, operations Research or a related field. Cannot graduate prior to September 2026. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with data and learning new tools Preferred Requirements: Experience with Excel, SQL, Python, or data visualization tools Coursework or internships related to operations, planning, or analytics Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $46.51 - $55.82 an hour Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
