A pharmaceutical organization in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Buyer to support GMP-regulated manufacturing and supply operations. This role plays a critical part in protecting production timelines, clinical supply continuity, and commercial readiness. The ideal candidate understands the urgency of regulated environments, supplier qualification requirements, and the downstream impact of material delays. If you've supported pharma manufacturing or clinical-stage supply chains and know how to manage risk without compromising compliance, this is a high-impact opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Execute purchase orders for APIs, excipients, packaging components, and critical indirect materials Partner with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams to align procurement with production schedules Coordinate closely with CMOs and domestic/international suppliers Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery commitments Ensure purchasing activity aligns with GMP standards and approved vendor lists Maintain accurate ERP data, including pricing, lead times, and documentation Proactively mitigate supply disruptions through scenario planning and supplier communication Qualifications: 5+ years experience within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments Familiarity with supplier qualification, audits, and quality documentation Strong ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) Working knowledge of MRP systems and production-driven purchasing High attention to detail with the ability to operate in audit-ready environments Pay Details: $32.00 to $42.00 per hour Search managed by: Kristen Silva Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
