Assembly Technician

Assembly Technician Our client in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join their manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and finishing components according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. Responsibilities: Assemble components and parts according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications Perform light assembly work, including some spot welding Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate, modify, and assemble parts Weld and solder components to produce finished products Detail and finish products to ensure they meet quality and workmanship standards Conduct basic quality inspections and testing checks throughout the assembly process Store raw materials and finished goods properly within the warehouse Package products for shipment according to company procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and ensure equipment is properly cared for Qualifications: Previous experience in assembly or a related manufacturing role preferred Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for fabrication and modification Knowledge of welding and soldering techniques Familiarity with airless paint spraying and automotive painting techniques preferred Experience in auto restoration is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow specifications accurately Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and work ethic Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted; lifting aids or team lifts are required for items over 50 pounds Pay: $17.00/hr Shift: 1st shift with overtime About Cardinal Staffing At Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
