Benefits Administrator Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Previous experience in benefits administration, HR, or payroll processing highly desirable Experience working with behavioral health populations or co-occurring disorders is a plus Customer service-focused with a commitment to supporting a positive employee experience Eager to learn and grow within benefits administration Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism Collaborative team player who communicates effectively and works well with internal and external partners Comfortable learning new systems quickly and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment This role should have an expectation of core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders. Job duties and responsibilities include: Process employee benefit enrollments, changes, COBRA events, etc. in HRIS and carrier systems Assist with day-to-day employee benefit questions within scope of knowledge Ensure accurate and timely processing and reconciliation of benefit invoices Process and audit benefit-related payroll changes Provide administrative support for the 401(k) plan, including audits and hardship withdrawal processing Review and process benefit claim forms (Short Term Disability, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, etc.) Assist with employee benefits education and communications initiatives Complete monthly and quarterly ACA reviews and reporting within HRIS Present and assist with benefits portion of New Hire Orientation, as needed Support preparation and distribution of annual 1095-C forms Provide administrative support for preparation, processing, and tracking of required annual benefit compliance materials and documentation Provide support for audits, reporting, and special projects as assigned Understands and promotes our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) concept by providing or supporting community-based mental and substance use disorder services; advancing integration of behavioral health with physical health care; assimilating and utilizing evidence-based practices on a more consistent basis; and promoting improved access to high quality care. Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management as requested Meet or exceed "satisfactory" expectations at any scheduled job performance evaluation Regular and predictable attendance is essential and expected for this position
