This person will lead the delivery of infrastructure and industrial technology projects across multiple engineering disciplines including networking, compute infrastructure, and operational technology (OT) environments. This person will also be responsible for project execution, task identification, prioritization and scheduling, task ordering, time tracking and reporting, financial tracking and reporting, early problem identification and conflict resolution, hardware requisition, supporting engineers, and attending project status meetings. Also includes overseeing daily operations and activities of project(s) ranging in size from up to $3M. This position is responsible for ensuring overall project profitability. This position requires the ability to navigate technical discussions, manage project scope and proposals, and lead cross-functional teams when project requirements are evolving or incomplete. Please note: Only candidates local to our HQ in Eden Prairie, MN are being considered for this role. This role isn't scheduled to sponsor a work visa. Project Management Responsibilities: Develop and execute IT/OT infrastructure implementation plans and project charters Maintain detailed knowledge of project scope, deliverables, and technical requirements Coordinate and assign work across project teams to meet schedule, delivery, and budget Ensure project teams clearly understand WM engineering responsibilities and scope boundaries Develop and maintain engineering schedules aligned with client and internal delivery timelines Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and coordinate resolution of technical or schedule conflicts Coordinate engineering-related purchasing, hardware procurement, and subcontractor requirements Responsible for development of project estimates, proposals, and contract change orders as project scope evolves Develop and manage project financial plans including budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and A/R coordination Serve as the primary W-M interface with the customer during all project lifecycle (end-to-end) Lead client and internal meetings, facilitating technical discussions between engineering teams and stakeholders Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, contractual requirements Produce clear technical documentation including project definitions, requirements, RFIs, status reports, and customer correspondence Maintain organized project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, deliverables, and project records Identify opportunities for scope expansion or additional services while supporting business development efforts, ability to network across targeted industries Experience supporting proposal development and project estimates within CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) Experience managing projects using structured project management methodologies (PMP, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models) Proficiency with project planning and documentation tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Travel up to 30% to various client sites Minimum Requirements: Education: BS degree in IT or related field. Experience: A minimum of three years of directly related experience in IT systems, Project Management experience is also required. This person will also possess strong leadership and client relation skills. Physical Demands of Position: Seeing, color perception, hearing, clear speech, dexterity in hands, driving, ability to travel distances, climbing, pushing and pulling, and ability to mount and dismount equipment. Working Environment: Standard office environment, On-site or Remote office environment, and diverse industrial environments, frequent PC usage, fax machines, copy machines, phones, trailer environment.
