Pediatric ENT APRN or PA-C AdventHealth for Children

AdventHealth for Children Pediatric ENT seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their new Pediatric ENT program. General Summary: The NP or PA assists the otolaryngology attending in all aspects of patient care. This position involves practice in the clinical setting, including inpatient, ambulatory/outpatient, and pre-operative and post-operative care. The practice will involve care and management of patients requiring a consultation for ENT-related diagnoses. Care will include performing clinic assessments, admission, history and physicals, daily plan of care, and some minor procedures. Practitioner will manage the inpatient course in collaboration with the attending. Practitioner will coordinate referrals and follow up on consults to other providers and clinic staff. Practitioner will provide emergency room and hospital consultations. Practitioners will provide care to ambulatory/ patients when needed in coordination with ambulatory nursing staff. Schedule Details: Campus Covered: AdventHealth Orlando Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm; Friday 8am - 2pm Call rotation required Required Education/Experience: Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies 3+ years Pediatric experience required Licensure, Certification, and Registration: Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other national recognized certification organization Current BLS and ACLS
