Responsibilities Program and operate the Laguna CNC Router using VCarve software. Skillfully operate various shop equipment including routers, sanders, saws, drills, and other related tools. Accurately interpret plans, sketches, blueprints, and shop drawings. Collaborate productively with designers and management to meet customer expectations and project objectives. Achieve high production output while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Select appropriate wood stock types, dimensions, and material requirements for each project. Implement nesting techniques to reduce material waste and optimize raw material usage. Maintain, clean, and care for CNC equipment and workspaces. Qualifications Experience with VCarve programming is preferred. Familiarity with alternative materials such as plastics or Plexiglas and design software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus. Strong background with laminates, tongue-and-groove construction, and veneers is highly desirable. Solid knowledge of industry-standard shop practices and high proficiency with woodworking tools and equipment. Proven capability to read technical blueprints and accurately translate them into precisely fabricated components.
