This is an opportunity for an experienced residential HVAC professional who wants real leadership, real influence, and real upside.Role OverviewThis is a working manager role with a clear growth trajectory.In the near term, you will:Perform residential HVAC installs and service workLead technicians in the fieldOversee daily operations and executionHelp build systems, processes, and company cultureAs the company grows, your role will intentionally shift from hands-on fieldwork into operational leadership, with a clearly defined path into a General Manager - type role responsible for day-to-day operations.Why This Role Is DifferentYou won’t be “just another tech” — your voice helps shape the businessYou’ll help define install standards, quality expectations, pricing discipline, and team cultureClear progression: Hands-On Leader → Operations Manager → General ManagerBacked by a national brand without corporate red tapeOwnership that listens: daily communication, real trust, real accountabilityYou grow with the company - your upside isn’t cappedLicensing Requirement (North Carolina)Must hold a valid North Carolina HVAC contractor licenseKey Responsibilities & QualificationsTechnical & Field LeadershipPerform residential HVAC installs, service, and maintenanceLead complex installs and service callsAct as technical lead and mentor for techniciansEnsure quality control and adherence to company standardsReduce callbacks, rework, and warranty issuesOperations & LeadershipManage day-to-day operations (technicians, dispatch, CSRs)Balance field responsibilities with operational leadershipTrack, own, and improve key KPIsSupport dispatch, scheduling, and daily job flowHelp document SOPs, install standards, and checklistsCommunicate daily with ownership on field performance and operationsParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and training as the team growsBuild a culture of accountability, pride in workmanship, and continuous improvementRequired Experience5+ years of residential HVAC install and service experienceComfortable leading installs and complex service callsStrong leadership and communication skillsWilling and able to be hands-on while managing operationsOrganized, accountable, and coachableComfortable working in a startup / build-from-the-ground-up environmentPreferredLead tech or supervisory experienceExperience with ServiceTitanStrong interest in long-term leadership and ownershipWho This Role Is ForThis role is ideal for:A high-performing lead tech ready for real leadershipSomeone tired of being capped, micromanaged, or unheardA builder who wants authority, accountability, and upside
