Responsibilities: Collaborate with a diverse team to analyze structured debt instruments from accounting, finance, tax, and systems perspectives, assisting with income computations that affect yield to maturity and present value through projected cash flows. Leverage advanced Excel skills to handle extensive data sets, showcasing your ability to identify areas for enhancement using tools like VBA and Alteryx. Engage in the development, enhancement, and testing of proprietary software for various debt products, effectively translating business requirements to programmers and developers. Conduct in-depth research and prepare comprehensive reports on essential business concepts, including accounting, finance, and federal and international income tax issues relating to debt instruments and their implications. Qualifications: At least one year of relevant experience in financial services, consulting, or an accounting firm. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is required; a master's degree or CPA designation is preferred. Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP; experience managing large data sets and familiarity with tools such as VBA, Alteryx, and PowerBI is a plus. Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the capability to generate trial balances and financial statements from extensive data volumes. Willingness to travel as necessary, estimated at less than 10% of the time. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship.
