Primary Responsibilities: Implement and uphold Quality Management System principles and processes. Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters on assigned programs. Execute contract reviews, quality program planning, and requirements flow down. Ensure products consistently meet contractual requirements. Identify and manage nonconforming material dispositions. Conduct thorough corrective action investigations and implement effective resolutions. Chair the Material Review Board meetings. Develop quality performance estimates for cost proposals and project scheduling. Assist in generating and reviewing ECR/N and participating in Change Control Boards. Perform comprehensive data and trend analysis. Manage Oracle ERP database records effectively. Conduct internal audits to ensure process compliance and maturity across functions. Monitor and track Corrective Action Requests and Plans. Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors to ensure compliance. Develop and execute value-added process improvements and initiatives. Foster a people-first culture reflecting Saab's leadership vision. Willingness to travel up to 10% annually. Secondary Responsibilities: Support incoming inspection and inspection planning activities. Assist in the calibration and maintenance of equipment. Help improve Saab's internal quality metrics and reporting. Compensation Range: $92,200 - $115,300. This range serves as a guideline and is determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, the role, associated responsibilities, location, market conditions, and the candidate's experience and skills. Skills and Experience: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination. Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) programs, procedures, and processes. Knowledge of Quality System Management standards such as AS9100. Experience with SEI CMMI principles. Desired Qualifications: Expertise within the aerospace industry. Extensive experience in customer interactions including contract-related communications. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification. IPC or other relevant industry certifications. Citizenship Requirements: Applicants must be U.S. citizens as positions may require access to classified information.
