We have an opportunity in Madison, MS for a Culinary Services Supervisor. This is a Full Time AM position You will be part of an amazing community where you will work alongside a great culinary team! This is a beautiful senior living community that provides a variety of high-quality living experiences that meet the needs of its residents, from independent-living and assisted-living to skilled nursing and memory care This is a hands-on role that will work to direct and motivate the culinary team to create a culture of excellence. The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for leading the innovative operations of all culinary, wellness, and retail systems, recipes, and menus, and related product development and promotions within the existing brand. He/she will ensure compliance with culinary standards in all facility dining operations across business lines including retail and hospital dining. They will provide overall direction to, and control of menus and recipes to achieve operating goals and enhance food quality and presentation. Responsibilities will include retail service. Will actively participate in execution of all culinary training programs and materials. The Culinary Supervisor will act as the lead for all culinary services and make recommendations for our culinary strategy. Through regular contact, active listening, and timely addressing of any issues, concerns, or problems, he/she will establish and maintain effective communication with the Director of Culinary Services. This person will be charged with developing excellent working relationships with clients and providing effective training, leadership, and management with all facility staff as he/she understands that achievement of goals and high standards must be a joint effort in our complex and demanding business environment. Essential Functions: Will actively participate in new business surveys, proforma development, and presentations. Responsible for continued improvement of team performance and guest/patient satisfaction Monitors trends and identifies/suggests appropriate adjustments Guides product and service offering through the product life cycle Innovation of new product and program development Manage the portfolio of products within the signature recipes Qualifications Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is an hourly position, with expected hours to include: Days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays. A schedule will be provided, and the associate will use appropriate timekeeping methods to document hours worked.
