RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Job Functions: Deliver outstanding customer service, making both internal and external customers feel valued and appreciated. Administer immunizations to customers according to established guidelines. Complete clinical services based on your case load. Dispense medications accurately following legal and ethical standards. Compound medications by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to standard formulas. Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients. Verify new medication against existing profiles to prevent drug interactions before filling prescriptions. Monitor the work of pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure prescription accuracy. Engage with the pharmacy team regarding inventory and protocol adherence related to recalls. Stay compliant with all state and federal laws about department licensing and personal renewals. Maintain quality assurance procedures, secure control of substances, and proper disposal of hazardous waste drugs. Participate in safety programs, identifying and addressing unsafe conditions as necessary. Timely report customer or employee accidents to management. Keep flexible schedules to assist with staffing needs. Communicate ongoing store programs and updates to team members. Adhere to company policies and the union contracts. Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA and DEA procedures. Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive team environment. Be prepared to travel to different pharmacy locations as needed. Promote a culture of trust and respect within the team. Be capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. QUALIFICATIONS Desired Previous Job Experience: Management experience Experience in pharmacy Retail experience Minimum Position Qualifications/Education: Current pharmacist license in good standing Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong planning and organizational skills Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Valid driver's license
