Job Summary The Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the 1st Shift plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, overseeing shipping, receiving, and inventory management while maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily work schedules of warehouse staff responsible for shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, stacking, picking, and palletizing products. Determine storage space requirements and schedule the delivery and distribution of products to meet customer needs, ensuring all materials are organized and clearly identified. Maintain equipment, including company vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and safety regulations. Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance, providing coaching and counseling as necessary. Coordinate with warehouse managers and supervisors to ensure timely shipments and address any merchandise shortages. Maintain records and reports, such as lost sales and production metrics, to identify areas for improvement. Recommend procedural changes to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Proven experience in material handling and inventory tracking, with the ability to lead a team.
