About the Job SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Are you a skilled Concrete Construction Supervisor ready to take charge of exciting concrete projects? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead concrete operations on-site, ensuring all quality standards, project timelines, and budget constraints are effectively met. In this role, you will supervise concrete construction processes, maintain open communication with the project management team, and uphold a strong commitment to safety across all tasks. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with Operations Managers to coordinate concrete scheduling and operations. Engage in daily discussions with the Project Management team to ensure smooth project execution. Be actively present on-site to oversee all concrete construction activities. Ensure compliance with budget guidelines regarding manpower production and material expenses. Effectively organize and schedule field labor to meet the demands of the project. Collaborate with subcontractors to enhance workflow and planning. Maintain high-quality standards throughout the concrete construction process. Track project progress diligently and report findings on a regular basis. Monitor time reporting for the field team under your supervision accurately. Continuously evaluate productivity and address challenges swiftly to prevent delays. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES/BEHAVIORS: In-depth knowledge and experience in diverse concrete construction methods, including foundations, walls, paving, and more. A strong understanding of scheduling concrete work alongside other trades and activities. Commitment to safety, fostering a robust safety culture on all projects. Basic proficiency in Spanish to facilitate communication with field labor as needed. Exceptional listening skills and the ability to build effective relationships within the team. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES: At least 6 years of expertise in commercial or industrial concrete construction, managing projects valued at $2 million or more. Demonstrated ability to supervise construction teams efficiently while adhering to budgets and timelines. Proficient in cultivating positive relationships with various construction stakeholders, including management, owners, trades, and subcontractors. Adept at juggling and prioritizing multiple deadlines efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency with technology and relevant resources.
