Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our Central Fill Operations team. In this role, you will lead and direct pharmacy technicians, ensuring the accuracy and quality of patient prescriptions throughout the customer experience. Responsibilities Oversee and manage the dispensing process as well as all associated record-keeping activities. Troubleshoot and resolve customer/store complaints with appropriate documentation. Assist in maintaining inventory and ensuring drug files are up to date. Communicate effectively with the Central Fill General Manager and Pharmacy Manager regarding operational issues and suggestions. Participate in the review and updating of policies and procedures. Support the orientation and training of new pharmacists and associates. Provide leadership to supervisors and customer service representatives. Ensure all patient information is handled in a manner compliant with HIPAA regulations. Comply with all state and federal drug laws. Maintain thorough record-keeping practices as required by legal compliance and company policies. Keep all pharmacy equipment functional and well-maintained. Organize and maintain policy manuals, reference materials, and ensure staff are knowledgeable on their use. Continuously seek opportunities to expand your pharmacy knowledge and skills. Possible requirement to obtain pharmacist licensure in additional states as needed. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent recognition from the Board of Pharmacy. Experience in specialty pharmacy. Active clinical license for all states in the geographical sector. Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing. Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task effectively while ensuring timely and accurate results. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with pharmacy industry terms and processes. Ability to manage high-pressure situations. Basic math skills essential for pharmacy work. Strong oral and written communication skills. Desired Qualifications: At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Experience in Central Fill or Mail Order Pharmacy settings. Previous leadership experience.
