Chemours is excited to welcome a Commercial Development Professional to our Advanced Performance Materials team. This role is hybrid and based at our Wilmington Office Building at 1007 N Market St, Wilmington, DE, reporting directly to the Business Development Program Leader. As a Commercial Development Professional, you will significantly influence the company by engaging with various functions including Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement. This position offers you the opportunity to gain valuable business experience through multiple rotational assignments, partnering with business leaders to implement effective strategies. Expect to undergo 2 to 3 rotations, each lasting 12 - 18 months, to rapidly enhance your commercial acumen and build a solid foundation for future roles in commerce. The initial rotation will see you taking on the role of Competitive Intelligence Analyst within the Advanced Performance Materials division. In this vital position, you will develop and analyze competitive information, actively supporting the competitive intelligence strategy within APM Commercial Operations. Key Responsibilities Include: Support the Business Development Program Leader in formulating and evaluating strategies that enhance an ongoing competitive intelligence process, critical for business strategy. Engage in Product Meetings, providing CI insights that are essential for executing product line strategies. Collaborate with Product Specialists and market-facing teams to collect and analyze market and competitive intelligence using diverse data sources. Lead efforts to speed up competitive data collection, improving both the frequency and efficiency of real-time market intelligence. Assist in analyzing competitive landscapes, supplying actionable insights like Global Market Supply/Demand Analysis and Competitor COM Models. Help in creating and distributing standardized CI communications, including Competitor Profiles and Competitive Landscape Reports. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Chemical Industry across any function (technical, production, business, etc.). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and process mapping tools. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Interest in pursuing future commercial roles. High levels of motivation and self-awareness. Results-oriented with exceptional communication capabilities. Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC). Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%).
