Apply soon, as the application window will close within 30 days of posting. Key Responsibilities: Verify and process invoices promptly, notifying management of any discrepancies. Monitor and collect accounts receivable including resident rent payments, and report delinquent accounts. Perform payroll data entry and maintain employee records and timecards. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports as directed. Organize and maintain business office files. Handle data entry for check requests. Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Manage petty cash as instructed. Ensure the office area is clean and well-organized. Help maintain the inventory of office supplies. Provide clerical support, including answering phones as needed. Attend mandatory training, in-service, and staff meetings. This job description provides an overview of the key responsibilities associated with this position and may not encompass all tasks. Associates are expected to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisors. Qualifications: Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED and prior experience in bookkeeping or entry-level accounting is required. Certifications and Licenses: None required. Decision Making: Expected to make routine decisions based on established guidelines; more complex issues should be reported to a supervisor. Skills and Knowledge: Fundamental skills to follow written and verbal instructions, basic technical skills to perform designated duties, and effective oral and written communication abilities. Proficient with computer software.
