As a Tax Specialist at H&R Block, you'll be supported by an expert team dedicated to equipping you with the tax training necessary for your success. You'll enjoy the freedom, flexibility, and additional earning potential that aligns with your unique life. Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients through face-to-face interactions and virtual tools like video, phone, chat, and email. Prepare comprehensive and accurate tax returns. Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and present additional products and services. Assist clients with IRS support. Promote office priorities through teamwork and collaboration. Continuously develop your tax expertise. It would be a plus if you also had... A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment. A background in a fast-paced, supportive setting. The ability to work between 25-35 hours a week during tax season, scaling up to 40 hours during peak weeks. What you'll bring to the team... Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency with virtual communication tools such as video, phone, and chat. Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing. Ability to meet all IRS and applicable state requirements. A high school diploma or equivalent or higher.
