Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will oversee all accounting functions, strengthen internal controls, and support operational leaders with financial insights that drive performance and scalability.This role requires a strong technical accounting background, manufacturing industry experience, and the ability to build processes that support a growing, multi-location organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & ComplianceOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple sitesEnsure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAPConsolidate multi-entity financial resultsMaintain and improve accounting policies and proceduresCoordinate and manage annual external audits and tax filingsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirementsCost Accounting & Manufacturing FinanceLead cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuationAnalyze production costs, margins, and operational performance metricsOversee inventory controls, physical counts, and reconciliation processesPartner with operations leadership to improve profitability and efficiencyInternal Controls & Process ImprovementDevelop and maintain strong internal controls across all locationsImplement scalable processes and systems to support company growtEvaluate and improve ERP systems and financial reporting toolsDrive continuous improvement in accounting operationsLeadership & Team DevelopmentManage and develop the accounting team across multiple sitesEstablish clear performance expectations and accountabilityFoster collaboration between finance and operational leadershipStrategic SupportSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesProvide financial analysis and reporting to the CFO and executive leadershipAssist with cash flow management and working capital optimizationSupport acquisitions, integrations, and expansion initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership rolesManufacturing industry experience requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principlesExperience in multi-site or multi-entity environmentsERP system experience (manufacturing-focused systems preferred)Advanced Excel and financial reporting skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsKey CompetenciesHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong leadership and team-building abilitieAbility to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentStrategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilityExcellent problem-solving and process improvement mindsetInterested in hearing more?
