Kitchen Sanitation Associate

Description: As a Kitchen Sanitation Associate at Glory Days Grill, you will play a vital role in upholding the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our busy restaurant. This position involves ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are kept spotless and ready for use, while also maintaining a safe and sanitary dishwashing area. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils, placing them into racks for machine washing. Accurately stack clean dishes and transport them to the kitchen and storage areas. Conduct hourly changes of dishwater in the dish machine to maintain cleanliness. Manually wash pots, pans, and trays to ensure they are sanitized and ready for use. Regularly remove trash and garbage to ensure a clean working environment. Assist in setting up and breaking down the dishwashing area as needed. Maintain cleanliness of floors by sweeping and mopping as necessary. Monitor and notify management regarding dish machine safety standards, including temperature checks. Help with general restaurant cleaning to keep the facility in top condition. Carry out any additional duties as assigned. Working Environment: You will thrive in a fast-paced and active setting where teamwork is essential.
