Job Summary The Pharmacy Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing non-clinical pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. This role operates under the supervision of a pharmacist while serving as a certified pharmacy technician. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal service delivery. Engage with customers and patients, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and enhancing the pharmacy experience. Assist in patient care activities including medication preparation and health service offerings, under pharmacist supervision. Organize pharmacy workflow, manage scheduling, and ensure inventory is maintained and equipment is operational. Lead training and development for pharmacy technicians and monitor performance management processes. Build and sustain relationships with community partners and coordinate outreach efforts. Communicate effectively within the pharmacy team and participate in regular meetings to ensure alignment on objectives. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred. A minimum of one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to foster relationships with customers and team members. Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
