What we are looking for: GRAMMER is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute positively to our operations. What you will be doing: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our automotive operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to industrial maintenance, including: Performing installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment. Assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, electrical or electronic components, piping systems, machinery, or equipment. Diagnosing mechanical problems and identifying corrective actions by reading blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs. Dismantling devices to access and replace defective parts using tools and machinery. Operating milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and other tools to repair or fabricate parts. Inspecting, testing, and diagnosing machinery or equipment to identify malfunctions. Conducting routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine operation and facility efficiency. Checking and replacing fluid levels, filters, and performing other maintenance tasks as per checklists. Utilizing PLC troubleshooting techniques. Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Executing installation of conduit and related hardware, repairing motor control systems, and replacing electrical fixtures. What you will bring along: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience is necessary. Automotive experience is preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and excellent time-management skills. Great interpersonal skills to work with team members and management. Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and knowledge of HRIS systems. Ability to engage effectively with all levels of management and a diverse workforce. Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic situations.
