The Role The Wholesale Account Executive is pivotal in driving revenue growth within a designated set of wholesale accounts. This position emphasizes the exploration of new opportunities within established relationships, discovery of new buying centers, and broader adoption of solutions offered. Responsibilities include pipeline development, opportunity management, forecast accuracy, and achieving sales quotas. The Main Responsibilities Formulate and implement strategic account plans guided by new business hunting and growth within the assigned portfolio. Identify, qualify, bid, negotiate, and successfully close new sales opportunities to consistently achieve and surpass sales and revenue targets. Engage in proactive prospecting through cold calling, email outreach, social selling, networking, client meetings, and industry events. Enhance account wallet share via cross-selling and upselling collaborations with the sales overlay team, while unearthing new buying centers and stakeholders. Build and sustain multi-threaded relationships with decision-makers and influencers to secure a strategic advantage. Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, statements of work, and pricing configurations. Manage the complete sales process, coordinating with solution engineers, overseeing post-sales order submissions, and ensuring smooth service delivery. Maintain regular and precise weekly forecasts and pipeline updates; ensure CRM data quality and integrity. Provide sales leadership with valuable market and customer insights on trends and competitive dynamics. Exhibit a thorough understanding of our product offerings and stay informed about emerging technologies. What We Look For in a Candidate 2-5 years of experience in B2B field sales; experience in telecom or technology sales is highly desirable. A demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets with a proactive hunting mindset and disciplined prospecting strategies. Familiarity with wholesale wireless, IP/data, and voice/network services. Exceptional communication abilities (written, verbal, and formal presentation) with proficiency in negotiation and closing deals. Self-driven, proactive, and results-focused; adept at managing multiple priorities independently. Competence in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; experience with Salesforce is a plus. Understanding of selling IP, data, and voice network services. Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $50,862 - $67,809 in several states, including AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA ... $53,403 - $71,201 in selected states, including CO, HI, MI, MN ... $55,944 - $74,592 in states like AK, CA, CT, DC, IL ...
