JOB SUMMARY The Catering Delivery Specialist is essential in providing an outstanding dining experience by delivering and serving food and beverages to guests using the TueGo or Catering Delivery Service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet each guest warmly and ensure a memorable dining experience to encourage repeat visits. Respond to phone inquiries with a friendly and helpful attitude. Guide guests through a variety of food, beverage, catering, and promotional menus. Collect necessary details for processing TueGo/Catering orders, including name, delivery location, and contact information. Accurately take guest orders and enter them into the MICROS system. Carefully package orders according to Ruby Tuesday recipes, ensuring all requested items are included. Maintain high standards for food and beverage preparation and presentation. Provide an accurate guest check, handle payments, and complete transactions efficiently. Perform side work and keep the TueGo, Catering, and Delivery areas organized and clean. Direct guests with large catering orders to the dedicated Ruby Tuesday Catering Team. Deliver and set up catering orders punctually as per the agreed timeframe. Take on additional responsibilities as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent. Willingness to work extended hours when needed. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Comfort with operating equipment such as coffee makers, POS systems, microwaves, computers, telephones, and other kitchen tools. Physical capability to reach overhead, carry catering cooler bags, and handle items of varying temperatures; able to bend, crouch, and communicate effectively with team members. Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance for delivering catering orders. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This role demands regular attendance and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Key physical tasks include hearing, speaking, walking, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, balancing, kneeling, stooping, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. The position may involve exposure to temperature variations and frequent use of hands in water and cleaning solutions. Specific vision requirements include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
