Summary About the Position: This position is located at Lemoore Naval Air Station Kings CA. Duties Help monitors daily usage of purchase cards Balances workload distribution, updates standard operating procedures, maintaining standard forms Evaluates purchase requests to ensure adherence to legal procedural requirements Conducts monthly audits utilizing program audit tool Tracking and Maintaining employee records which includes security clearances, background investigations, credentialing requirements, and CAC requests Requirements Help Conditions of employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. A Personnel Security Investigation is required. Position is designated as Mission Essential. The incumbent will be required to report to work during times of contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather or other emergency situations. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. One year trial/probationary period may be required. This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons. This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with DHA Regulation. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes reviewing and monitoring purchase card usage, evaluating purchase requests, utilizing office automation software (Program Audit tool (PAT) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and/or tracking contractor employee records. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Successfully completed a master or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as business administration, human resources management, finances, or operations management (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: Specialized experience as described above but less than one year; And I have at least one year of graduate education as described above, but less than the required two years. I have computed the percentage of requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% to compute percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal 100% to qualify. Note you must attach a copy of your transcripts. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07). Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
