Position Overview As a Culinary Team Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the culinary journeys of our customers. You will assist our chefs in ensuring seamless class operations and delivering an exemplary customer experience, embodying our standard of excellence in service known as #bestincenter. Your contributions will help bring culinary dreams to life and create lasting memories for our guests. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Brand Representation Create engaging and memorable culinary experiences that inspire repeat visits and build customer loyalty. Continuously enhance your knowledge of our products through training and independent research. Foster a customer-focused culture in both the kitchen and retail environment to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Sales & Business Performance Assist chefs in executing classes that ensure customer satisfaction and encourage future visits. Contribute to achieving class revenue goals through high enrollment and positive feedback. Help meet monthly sales targets, assessed by individual sales volume and customer engagement metrics. Team Engagement & Store Support Support the setup and breakdown of culinary classes, including ingredient prep and workstation organization. Ensure cleanliness by promptly washing dishes and sanitizing equipment for smooth kitchen operations. Maintain an organized inventory of kitchen supplies to enhance store readiness. Operations & Compliance Adhere to food safety standards and local health regulations. Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely to maintain a secure working environment. Regularly monitor inventory levels to minimize waste and control costs. Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations where applicable. Physical Requirements Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours. Physical capability to move around the store and assist class participants. Ability to accurately perceive and distinguish flavors and odors. Capacity to perform various kitchen tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in using computers and POS systems. Available to work between 12 and 16 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Consistent attendance is essential, with the ability to adjust class assignments based on demand. Ability to work in a diverse kitchen environment with varying temperatures and food allergens. Qualifications & Experience Must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment. Preferred: 1 year of retail sales experience and food preparation or kitchen operations experience. Valid Food Handlers Certification is required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential. A genuine passion for community interaction and outstanding customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems is a plus.
