Position Overview: In this pivotal role, you will manage both service and installation operations on the ground. We require a leader with exceptional technical abilities and a strong dedication to customer satisfaction to guarantee outstanding service delivery and seamless HVAC system installations. You will oversee a team of skilled technicians addressing both service calls and installation projects. Salary: $140-200k+ Based on Experience Key Responsibilities: Supervise technicians in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of commercial HVAC systems. Offer coaching and development opportunities for junior technicians. Collaborate closely with technicians on installation and service tasks. Ensure consistent quality control for all technician work. Act as the primary troubleshooter and technical advisor for the team. Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and technical support services. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the service and installation of commercial HVAC systems. Demonstrated troubleshooting expertise in: Packaged rooftop units up to 50 tons Split systems up to 50 tons Packaged reciprocating and scroll chillers up to 100 tons Water-source heat pumps Condenser water systems Hot and chilled water air handlers, pumps, and piping systems VRF systems Proven ability to engage with Fortune 500 corporate contacts. Familiarity with controls such as Novar, TCS Basys, BACnet, and Lightstat is a plus. Additional Work Requirements: Full-time role, with occasional overtime or weekend work required. Readiness to be on-call for emergency service or installation requests after regular hours. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in diverse environments.
