Gastroenterologist, Motility Focused

The University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for a Gastroenterologist, Motility focused. The physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct inpatient and outpatient care to GI patients at UHealth Locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital. He/she will also provide oversight for the motility program in Lennar, and spend an additional half day reading motility studies performed by hospital ancillary staff. He/she will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, as well as rounding/teaching on inpatients at UHealth Towers, and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Preferred physician who has experience with motility programs and reading of esophageal motility studies, hydrogen breath to patients who require these services. Qualifications: MD/DO required. Internal Medicine Residency. Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship. BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply.
