Class A CDL Emergency Response Driver

Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites in Evansville, IN. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize Health and Safety by following all safe work practices, policies, and procedures. Operate commercial trucks, providing assistance to field laborers in a collaborative environment. Handle loading and unloading of trucks. Engage in manual labor as needed to meet customer requirements. Ensure proper placarding of vehicles in compliance with Company and DOT regulations. Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and compliance rules. Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT regulations. Follow all corporate operating guidelines and procedures. Observe all environmental health and safety operating guidelines. Handle other duties as assigned. Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating basis every other week. Engage in site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling hazardous materials. Required Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL. Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment. Familiarity with various mobile devices. Capable of performing physical tasks as required by the job. Must successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical. Comply with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard regarding facial hair standards. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a commercial driver. Possession of Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Prior Hazmat handling experience. Ability to operate a manual transmission. Experience with manual labor tasks.
