Join our team in Urbana, where you'll play a critical role in keeping operations running efficiently by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems. This position requires a well-rounded industrial maintenance professional with strong capabilities in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, welding, and overall general industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment. How you'll make an impact... Install, disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and mechanical drives. Perform advanced mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose equipment failures and implement effective, long-term repairs. Conduct electrical troubleshooting on motors, relays, switches, starters, fuses, and 480V 3-phase systems. Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and power transmission systems. Execute MIG and TIG welding, including stainless steel and structural steel fabrication and repair. Perform manual fabrication and equipment modifications as needed to support operations. Follow blueprints, manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately complete repairs. Adjust, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and increase equipment reliability. Maintain compliance with OSHA, ISO, and company safety standards. Document maintenance activities in CMMS and communicate critical updates to leadership. Maintain 5S standards and ensure a safe, organized work environment. Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently. What do you bring... Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience (Skilled Trades program, military technical background, etc.). 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Must be well-rounded in: Mechanical troubleshooting Electrical troubleshooting Welding (MIG and TIG) General industrial maintenance Strong ability to diagnose root causes of mechanical and electrical failures and perform reliable repairs independently. Experience working with 480V 3-phase systems, motors, controls, PLCs, and VFDs. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, meters, and mechanical service tools. Experience performing preventive maintenance and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and support operational goals. What do we offer?
