Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTerritory Sales Representative – Blue Ridge TerritoryOutside Sales | Construction Equipment & RentalsRoanoke, VA & Surrounding Area (Field-Based Role)Hawkins-Graves, Inc.Hawkins-Graves is hiring an experienced Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow our Blue Ridge Territory , covering Roanoke and the surrounding one-hour radius , including the City of Roanoke, City of Salem, Roanoke County, Botetourt County, and Franklin County.This is a full-time, field-based outside sales role focused on construction equipment sales, equipment rentals, attachments, and related services. This position requires daily in-person customer and job-site visits and is best suited for a disciplined, self-directed sales professional with construction industry experience.If you are seeking inside sales, remote work, or an entry-level sales role, this position will not be a fit.Key Responsibilities Own and grow a defined geographic sales territoryBuild and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, industrial, and municipal customersProspect, qualify, and close equipment and rental opportunitiesConduct regular job-site and office visits throughout the territoryManage sales pipeline, forecasting, and activity in CRMPrepare and present professional quotes and proposalsCoordinate closely with Rental, Service, Parts, and Sales Support teamsRepresent Hawkins-Graves professionally on active construction sites Minimum Qualifications (Required) 3+ years of B2B outside (field-based) sales experienceExperience selling into the construction, equipment, rental, or industrial market strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to manage a geographic territory independentlyComfortable working full-time in the field with daily travelStrong organization, follow-up, and communication skillsValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Applicants without outside sales experience in a construction-related industry will not be considered.Compensation & Support Competitive base salary plus incentive planCompany vehicle and expense supportProduct, safety, and sales trainingStrong internal support from Rental, Service, Parts, and Sales teamsLong-term career opportunity with a stable, growing company Why Hawkins-GravesHawkins-Graves is a values-driven organization built on Safety, Integrity, Accountability, and Teamwork.
