As a valuable member of the Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components. Your Mission: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues using observation and precision measurement tools. Assist fellow maintenance staff with emergency and routine repairs. Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and related control systems. Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications. Conduct boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment testing, document results and adjust chemicals as needed. Perform safety checks on boilers regularly and conduct necessary repairs. Inspect motors, belts, fluid levels, replace filters, and complete other maintenance tasks as per procedures. Execute basic welding tasks to repair facilities and equipment. Inspect, clean, and lubricate various equipment parts according to manuals and procedures. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by leadership. Your Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Two-year technical degree in a relevant field preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Proficient in industrial maintenance for facilities and equipment. A minimum of 1 year of experience in repairing industrial equipment in a production setting is required; applicable military experience is also considered. Must successfully complete UniFirst’s maintenance knowledge assessment for employment eligibility. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is essential. Ability to understand maintenance documentation in English is required. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are necessary. Lockout/Tagout experience is a must. Willingness to work overtime as needed. A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are essential. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
