Your Role: As a Tax Preparation Associate, you will be supported by a dedicated expert team and receive the tax training you need to excel. Expect flexibility and the opportunity for extra earnings! Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients through various channels including video, phone, and chat. Prepare comprehensive and accurate tax returns. Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and promote additional services. Offer support for IRS inquiries. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet office objectives. Continuously develop your tax expertise. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. Experience in a customer service or retail setting. A fast-paced, supportive work history. Availability to work 25-35 hours per week during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak periods. What You'll Bring: Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course. Familiarity with fast-paced work environments. Competence in using virtual communication tools. Strong communication skills—both verbally and in writing. Compliance with IRS and applicable state requirements. High school diploma or equivalent.
