Shifts Available: 3 options: Sun-Wed 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Tue-Fri 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM, or Fri-Sun 4:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Based on experience and certifications) Your Responsibilities Include: Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles within scheduled time to ensure safety and reliability. Perform FAI/CVI (Annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles in compliance with relevant regulations. Execute quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on all vehicles and equipment. Timely address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups. Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturers' specifications. Document all work performed accurately in work orders. Learn and utilize Sysco's computer programs for efficiency. Ensure proficiency in electrical meter testing and repair. Handle welding projects and electrical repairs as required. Qualifications We Are Looking For: High school diploma or GED. Current and valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required). Preferred Experience: Medium/heavy-duty truck technical training. 3 years of fleet maintenance and repair experience, OR 2 years of schooling and 1 year of experience. Certifications and Skills That Would Help: Annual Inspector Certification. Brake Inspector Certification. ASE certifications; automotive or medium/heavy-duty trucks. 609 HVAC certification. Familiarity with computer-based diagnostic software. The technician must provide their own tools (diagnostic equipment and major tools provided by Sysco). Work address: Sysco, St. Charles, MO.
