Highlights of your role: Maintain HVAC/R equipment through preventative maintenance and ensure it operates within specifications. Troubleshoot and repair defective HVAC/R equipment, components, or wiring, including handling refrigerants. Offer alternative solutions to mechanical problems when necessary. Keep accurate records of work performed and required in our Computerized Maintenance Management System. Log inventory transactions that occur while working on equipment. You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can): EPA certification for handling refrigerants. A 2-year degree or equivalent work experience in HVAC/R. The ability to obtain a Minnesota Special Engineer License for boiler operation. A willingness to train on ARC flash and obtain a Registered Unlicensed Electrician License. The physical capability to perform job duties, including working at elevated heights on ladders and aerial lift platforms. Additionally, it’s important that you possess: The ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to diagnose problems. Strong knowledge of HVAC system wiring, piping, troubleshooting, and controls. Versatility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
