While this position is considered a leadership position, it also requires hands-on work and is a customer service position because of interactions with our customers.Reporting RelationshipsThe Production Manager - Landscape Enhancements reports to the Direct of Operations. The Director of Operations will provide training, direction, and support to the Production Manager.Requirements- MUST HAVE GREEN INDUSTRY AND/OR LANDSCAPE EXPERIENCE Education· A high school diploma or GED is a minimum requirementCertifications· A valid Ohio Driver’s License and be insurable by DLL’s vehicle insurance providerExperience· Four plus years of experience in all aspects of landscaping and snow operations· Prior leadership and management experience is a plusPhysical Requirements· Ability to stand and/or walk long distances and work continuously for up to 2 hours at one time to complete tasks, assist customers and other employees· Ability to work in severe temperatures for extended periods of time· Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted· Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions· Hearing and speaking to exchange information· Dexterity of hands to perform the tasks required of the position· Sight in order to be aware of hazards and dangers found in the nature of the workWorking Conditions· The employee will be expected to experience hot and humid conditions as well as cold conditions while on customer sites in all weather conditions. Because this is an all-weather job, the employee must be able to function and tolerate the changing of the seasons· The Production Manager- Enhancements is expected to drive to customer sites as needed· Willingness to work a varied schedule to ensure customer satisfaction/job completion including evenings, weekends, holidays and longer shiftsDuties and TasksThey will manage all aspects of the Enhancement Crews, including:o Schedule Work Crews to maximize productivity and company profitabilityo Be responsible for the productivity of each team member.o Give job-specific directions to their team and follow-up to ensure all jobs are completed to company standards and customer expectations.o Teach, manage, direct and mentor each member assigned to their crew. Give quality and timely feedback on work performedo Train Crew on proper use of all company equipment. This includes safe usage as well as methods to reduce wear and tear and thus avoid unnecessary maintenance and repairso Training and certification of new hires and experienced Crew memberso Provide immediate feedback to crew on job performance and quality of work performedo Execute company disciplinary program in a fair and timely mannero Conduct Annual Performance Reviews for all crew memberso Answer questions of the Crew regarding any work being doneo Communicate workload changes to Crew to ensure productivity on all shiftso Conduct site inspections daily to ensure proper job completion and customer satisfactionCharacter Traits· Leader who works well with others, organized, great attention to detail and uses effective time management skills· Professional, clear, specific and explicit communications, both written and verbally· Effective time management skills with Can Do Attitude: Positive, Helpful and Energetic· Understand attention to detail, time management, critical thinking- good decisions· Strong Character with Enthusiasm and a Sense of Urgency· Punctual for all scheduled shifts· High level of integrity, consistency, and treats all customers, employees, office staff and owner fairly and with respect· Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all timesMeasures of Performance· Meet or exceed Crew Labor Productivity Goal each week· Meet or exceed overtime goals· No return trips to client sites for poor work qualitySALARY POSITION WITH BONUS OPPORTUNITY
