What You Will Do: In this vital role, you will manage and resolve high-exposure, multi-party commercial general liability claims. Leveraging your litigation expertise and strategic approach, you will: Oversee complex litigated claims from inception to resolution, emphasizing quality, efficiency, and service excellence. Collaborate closely with internal and external counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals. Communicate clearly and promptly with customers and stakeholders throughout the claims process. Ensure claims are administered in line with regulatory standards and company protocols. You will take ownership of your claims portfolio while contributing to Zurich's commitment to industry leadership and client trust. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an associate degree, with 3+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance OR Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance OR High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance Must obtain and maintain requisite adjuster license(s) Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience managing Commercial General Liability claims 5+ years of experience in litigation management Experience working with a carrier Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Outstanding time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills Ability to build collaborative relationships across teams Expertise in conveying complex financial and actuarial concepts Skilled in evaluating the scope and exposure of moderately complex claims Knowledgeable in the reserving process for indemnity and expenses Proficient in developing and executing negotiation strategies Adept at recognizing nuances in customer and business partner interactions Capable of presenting claim resolution information effectively to stakeholders Your compensation at Zurich reflects your role, location, skills, and experience. The proposed salary range for this role is between $59,900.00 and $98,200.00, with eligibility for a short-term incentive bonus set at 10%.
