Position Summary: The Chemist I will support Product Development through aerosol sample generation, technical support, and document management for personal care, pet care, household, automotive, pesticides, adhesive, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities: Create and prepare formulas for needs like customer evaluation, stability, sales promotions, and proof of concept Assist with new product development from formula creation, reverse engineering, reformulation, and making a production ready product Provide technical assistance to production and quality Support the technical transfer of documents Aid with maintaining specifications, product launch records, and product related data Provide technical information to the supply chain team for vendor quoting and procurement processes Source componentry and chemicals from our warehouse and/or vendors to be able to create samples Required Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology Ready to learn and grow Preferred Qualifications: Laboratory experience Formulation experience Aerosol experience Manufacturing experience Analytical instrumentation experience Microbiology education Key Skills and Competencies: Wet chemistry Microsoft Office Teamwork Resourcefulness Solutions Provider Positive/Can-Do Attitude Desire to grow Attention to detail Strong communication skills Well-organized Self-motivated Work Environment/Hours: Hybrid of laboratory and office work Manufacturing setting for production related needs All PPE and Safety rules must be followed Hours will generally be 1st shift hours with possibility of occasional off-shift or overtime hours as necessary Pay will be based on skills and experience related to the position Benefits Include: Health (with HSA/FSA options), Dental, Vision, Life, Short and Long Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity 401(k) with matching PTO and paid holidays
