Your Responsibilities As a CDL-A driver with our private fleet, you will be responsible for no touch freight deliveries of goods to Walmart locations in your region. Why Choose Walmart? You'll Impress Us If: You possess 30 months of previous CDL-A experience within the last 48 months and have a passion for driving. Minimum Qualifications: Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement (must pass a background check) or the ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement (with cleared background check) within 120 calendar days of hire. At least 30 months of experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position within the past 4 years, or successful completion of the Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program. No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle. No serious traffic violations in the last three (3) years while driving a commercial motor vehicle. No preventable accidents while operating a commercial vehicle in the last three (3) years. No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last ten (10) years (defined as accidents leading to disabling damage or immediate medical treatment away from the scene). No preventable accidents resulting in fatalities or catastrophic injuries in history (commercial vehicle). Must reside within 250 miles of the assigned facility or be willing to establish residency within 250 miles within 90 days of hiring.
