Position Summary Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, where you will play a key role in protecting and delivering the Del Taco Brand. Your mission will be to drive sales and maximize efficiency and profitability in partnership with the General Manager. Essential Job Functions Support the General Manager in cultivating a passionate team dedicated to excellence by: Recruiting, hiring, and retaining exceptional restaurant staff. Ensuring ongoing certification of team members through our training process. Creating a culture of continuous learning and development. Fostering a fun and collaborative work environment. Evaluating team performance and recommending salary increases. Administering disciplinary actions as needed. Mentoring and growing team members to their fullest potential. Deliver the Del Taco experience by: Executing Del Taco standards consistently using established processes and systems. Maintaining a clean and welcoming facility. Ensuring all equipment meets operational and safety standards. Delivering high-quality products that reflect Del Taco's commitment to excellence. Adhering to cleaning schedules and standards meticulously. Ensuring all employees wear the proper uniform. Providing a consistent and delightful service experience. Displaying promotional materials as per guidelines. Drive sales growth and customer loyalty by: Assisting in setting and communicating daily, weekly, and yearly sales goals. Optimizing staff placement based on projected and actual sales. Maximizing customer count, average spend, and overall value. Helping identify local marketing opportunities that attract new customers. Staying engaged with local events and assessing competition in the area. Executing service standards that emphasize speed and customer satisfaction. Flawlessly implementing marketing promotions and campaigns. Enhance profitability by: Maintaining staffing levels that align with actual sales. Ensuring compliance with labor laws. Effectively managing inventory to minimize waste and prevent theft. Implementing rigorous cash handling procedures and conducting audits. Executing safety and health standards comprehensively. Reducing maintenance and supply costs through efficient vendor management. Achieving controllable cost targets and communicating them clearly.
