Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the company from financial loss due to theft and fraud while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental programs. Your main focus will be on utilizing various tools and strategies to minimize losses in your assigned store or multiple stores. Key responsibilities include: Identifying incidents of theft and fraud Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports Monitoring physical security within the store Auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance systems Promoting a culture of shrink elimination Preparing detailed and accurate case reports that document apprehensions and recoveries Preserving evidence for investigations Interacting with law enforcement and potentially testifying in court Reporting any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty In this role, you will prioritize both safety and operational responsibilities, ensuring a secure environment for all associates, vendors, and customers.
