Details Night shift position: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Neuro Ortho unit in a 233-bed acute care hospital Patient ratio of 1:6 2 shifts required every other weekend; for nights, rotation may fall on Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on existing schedule Floating required within scope to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED Charting via Epic (experience required) No on-call requirements Block scheduling is not available Requirements Active MO RN license required at time of consideration; IL candidates may apply with a pending IL license Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required 1-2 years of RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Navy scrubs required No parking costs at this facility RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation Travelers may remain at this facility (BJC health system) for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Completion of pre-start orientation modules is required prior to beginning the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-679305.
