Position Summary: We are seeking a talented Compliance Program Manager to join our team and help our clients navigate the complexities of regulatory requirements in the oil and gas sector. The Compliance Program Manager will assist in the development, implementation, and management of compliance programs for our clients in the oil and gas sector. This role is ideal for individuals looking for a career in compliance and consulting, with a focus on regulatory requirements and best practices in the industry. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the design and implementation of compliance programs tailored to client needs. Help maintain documentation and records related to compliance activities. Research regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to oil and gas operations. Analyze compliance data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement. Participate in risk assessment activities to identify compliance risks for clients. Support the development of strategies to mitigate identified risks. Help prepare training materials and presentations for client staff on compliance-related topics. Assist in organizing and delivering training sessions to promote a culture of compliance. Support the monitoring of compliance with regulations and policies. Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for clients. Work closely with senior compliance staff and others to deliver high-quality services to clients. Participate in client meetings and audits as needed. Knowledge, Skills, abilities and Other Personal Characteristics: Understanding of oil and gas industry regulations and compliance best practices. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Minimum Requirements: Some experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field is preferred. Strong commitment to learning and professional development. Desired but not Required: Familiarity with compliance software and tools. Basic understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations specific to the oil and gas industry. Previous experience in consulting or client-facing roles. Previous experience supporting oil ang gas field services. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly work within an office environment and is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk and listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. If based in the Houston area, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in our Cypresswood office location but will also consider remote candidates The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
